KRILL AS A TROPICAL FISH FOOD
Krill is eaten by some of the largest mammals in the world WHALES now if it sustains such large beasts then surely our tropical fish might find it usefull in their diet.Krill is of the plankton family even though it resembles a small shrimp,it's about 68% protein and has fat, fibre and ash content in amounts to suit fish of all types.

BUT THEY'RE TO BIG FOR MY FISH i hear you mutter. That's where a bit of knowledge through experementing comes in
Here we go,to get the krill to a state were our small mouthed fish can eat them first pour a small amount into the container lid, next get a small pair of scissors(i use some bonsai scissors) and procede to cut the krill into smaller pieces, then add them to hot(not boiling)water in a small glass(a small shorts glass will do)wait a few minutes until they re-constitute and soften then feed your fish easy. You will see the fish seek out this food with vigour,it will enhance their colour and be a welcome supplement to their diet.
And dont worry they wont grow too big for the tank(whale size ha,ha).
